Dr. Clifford R. Dunning has served as Chief Executive Officer and Director of Northern Virginia Professional Counseling Centers, P.C. since its inception in 1978. A Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland.
Clifford R. Dunning has also been trained in hypnotherapy, ADHD treatments, and substance abuse treatments. As a Clinical Psychotherapist at Northern Virginia Professional Counseling Centers, Clifford R. Dunning specializes in marriage and family therapy, dysfunctional family relations, domestic violence intervention, critical incident debriefing, and stress reduction. He has retained his military ties as a volunteer at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Clifford R. Dunning pursued graduate studies at both George Washington University, where he earned a Master of Arts, and United States International University, where he recieved a Doctor of Philosophy in Human Behavior.
